Is OnLine Fax a ‘web-based’ service?
Absolutely not! A ‘web-based’ service means that in order to send a fax, you must first log-on to a website, then upload your documents and fax recipients or select recipients from another phone list maintained on the website. This type service greatly benefits the service provider company, but is a terrible inconvenience for the fax user.

Does OnLine Fax allow maintaining an address/phone book for selection of fax numbers?
We feel there’s a better way to handle fax number lookup. OnLine Fax actually connects to address/phone books you already use, so you don’t have to maintain a separate list. OnLine Fax connects to hundreds of address/phone book databases, such as, Outlook, Act, Goldmine, Excel, Dbase, etc.

Is OnLine Fax an ‘email to fax’ service?
Absolutely not! Using an ‘email to fax’ service you can only send a fax by creating a document, then attaching it to an email and addressing the email to the service providers specifications, usually faxnumber@fax_service_domain.com. The problem is these services only accept certain document types, therefore your fax must first be saved into that format, then one must browse and attach to an email. It’s a very cumbersome process, which might be suitable for an occasional fax.

Do I need to log on to a website to retrieve my received faxes?
No. Received faxes are emailed to you.
